For 35 years, the Authority has been the backbone of maritime commerce in the British Virgin Islands. Established to manage, develop, and regulate seaport facilities and harbours across the territory, the Authority has grown to operate key infrastructure including the Road Town Ferry Terminal, cruise ship facilities, and cargo handling operations.
Our commitment is to provide safe, efficient, and sustainable port services that support the economic development of the BVI while maintaining the highest standards of environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
Conference Story
PortVision Conference 2026 marks a milestone celebration of the Authority's 35th anniversary. This three-day event brings together maritime professionals, port executives, government officials, and industry partners to explore innovation and sustainability in seaport operations.
The conference will feature keynote presentations, technical sessions, panel discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities. The conference concludes with the 35th Anniversary Gala—a separate evening celebration honoring our legacy and looking ahead to the future of maritime in the British Virgin Islands.
